Starting to Business Success

Start a business is a mammoth of a task, whether its profit making or non-profit enterprise. I was talking to one of my colleagues few days ago, we were looking at the small business landscape in Rustenburg, and he mentioned that many people want to make business seem like a difficult thing, but in his opinion business is simple. To which I replied, business is a complex endeavour, but on the other hand entrepreneurship is easy since it relies on one's creativity and intuition. Entreprenuership has to do with being awaken enogh to see opportunities where others don't, while business has many disciplines. Entreprenuership can be ignited (I believe everybody is born with), business must be learned. Yes business is an exchange of items of the same value, however, if you want to stick around after selling one item, you will need lto learn things such as production, planning, networking, etc. These things become even more complex the higher you want to go. You realize you need to learn operations, management, marketing and sales, financial management and many many more.

As an entreprenuer, I have grown to understand that I don't have to be a master at all faculties of business management, however to lay strategies which will enable me to see my vision, I have to gain an impressive understanding in the major faculties. Never underestimate the power of reading books and blogs, lol. If you want your start to lead you to a position of impact, identify areas necessary to learn and make learning part of your journey.
